In lakes with more weeds you can try pitch baits like the Berkly Havoc Craw Fatty into visible pockets for some big Bass.

Spring Panfish

Try fishing for Panish in about 6 to 10 feet of water with night crawlers and a bobber.

Tips for Spring Bass

For fishing spring Bass try using black and blue jigs with craw trailers, or swimbaits that imitate Bluegills. The Bass will eat the bluegill imitating bait because it is protecting its bed. Look for big Bass back in shallow bays where the water is warmest. Try areas of bullrush weeds or timber

Prespawn Largemouth Bass

We were fishing for early prespawn Bass. We were using Berkley Hollowbelly Swimbaits and were fishing in shallow sandy flats where the Bass are going to spawn. We were catching the most in the dead bullrush weeds. We caught over 100 Bass in 3 days
